Eamonn on the big screen

25th June 2014

Eamonn is about to hit the big screen as he joins everyone’s favourite irish mammy Mrs Brown in her foray into film.

Set in the streets of Dublin Mrs. Brown’s Boys D’Movie is a rip-roaring comic romp, starring Brendan O’Carroll and his family.

For Eamonn, his venture into acting hasn’t been too much of a stretch as he plays a newsreader in the film.

The movie follows market-trader Agnes Brown as her market stall comes under threat from a ruthless develop. Agnes and her family embark on a campaign to save their livelihood, aided only by a motley troop comprising Buster’s blind trainee ninjas, a barrister with an unhelpful affliction, and Grandad’s elderly friends.

However, as daughter Cathy turns her back on the family business and unwanted secrets emerge from Agnes's past, could the Brown matriarch finally be out of her depth?

Mrs. Brown’s Boys D’Movie hits cinemas Friday 27th June.
