Give a Dog a Holmes

I popped in with Sunrise friends Charlotte Hawkins and Jacquie Beltrao to support and celebrate the Dogs Trust’s 5th birthday at their centre at Harefield, just outside London.
This is an amazing place, run by amazing people and full of the most beautiful amazing animals who all need a home. The doggies are big, small, old, young, quiet, loud, bold and meek.
This centre is a state of the art world leader and they will not put any of these dogs to sleep.
So, what’s stopping you coming along to one of the many Dog Trust Centres around Britain and Ireland and giving a dog a home?!
Both Charlotte and Jacquie have taken home rescue dogs and they’re working on me to do the same.
At the moment there is an awful lot of travel in both mine and Ruth’s lives and whilst we both want to adopt a dog – we don’t feel we can just yet. But I have to say, I nearly did today!
